The Elements
There are four groups of elements: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water. Each element carries with it characteristics that apply to the three signs of that element.
Earth Signs
The Earth Signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. People with lots of earth are very practical. They can see how to do and use things. Those with little earth can't be objective, aren't grounded or practical.
If you have many planets in Earth signs in your natal chart, you're concerned with preserving the status quo and are stable and methodical in your ways of going on. You resist change and may have trouble getting started, but once on the move are indomitable. You mistrust that which is new or untried.
If you have few planets in Earth signs in your natal chart, your common sense and the ability to deal with practical matters may be lacking, and you may wonder at those who spend much time making money, doing life's chores, and attending to basic necessities. You depend on mental activity and confidence.
