The 10th House
The tenth house is ruled by Capricorn and Saturn. This is a house that projects us into our place in society. It is generally considered to be a house that brings good fortune. This house rules not only our social stature, but also our careers as well as our ambitions, what we aspire to be.
Whereas the first house shows us what certain people might think of us, the tenth house shows us what the larger group of people think of us. Our reputations are emphasized here. Likewise, this house often shows what level of fame we are likely to achieve. Of course, fame is not always great, dubious honors can be seen here as well.
This house can pertain to what our overall wealth may end up becoming. It is the house of business. Lastly, whereas the sixth house may pertain to work and toil and emphasizes those of subservient nature, the tenth house conversely shows those who have elevated status and are in a position of power.
