The 11th House
The eleventh house is very similar to the fifth house in nature. Ruled by Saturn, Uranus and the sign Aquarius, this house is also one that can bestow many joys upon a person. The difference between the fifth and the eleventh houses lies in that the fifth gives joys of a physical nature, whereas the eleventh is of mental energy.
It could be said it is quite as fortunate as the fifth in that the mental desires shown in this house have most likely not yet come to fruition. This house shows our hopes and dreams, the things we want most in life. It can be our fantasies, and often abstract thoughts originate here. It is also a very mental house and ideals can be shown here.
The eleventh house also rules collective groups, especially groups of friends. The emphasis is on the group rather than person to person communications. Also included could be social clubs which have a common theme to rally people around.
