The 8th House
Being ruled by Scorpio, as well as the planets Mars and Pluto, the eighth house is a house of transformation. It rules death and things that pertain to it, such as inheritances. However, in the true sense of the eighth house, things that have ceased to be will leave something behind, and from that shall emerge something new. The eighth house is a house of change and evolution.
It can be a bleak house signifying end to stages of one’s life. It has also been related to criminal activity and general deviance. Planets in this house can tend to leave people in difficult mental states.
The opposite side of death is the process by which life comes about. Because of this, sex is very important to the eighth house. In addition to the energy attributed to sex, this house can also share its influence on relationships with other people.
