Aspects
Aspects form when two planets are a certain number of degrees apart from each other. Depending on their distance apart, aspects signify certain things about the relationship between the two planets and indicate whether they will generally have beneficial or challenging effects.
Squares
Squares form when two planets are about 90 degrees apart from each other (depending on the orb used). The two planets generally exist in signs of the same element in this aspect.
Square are traditionally regarded as troublesome aspects where two planets are consistently getting in each others way, making things harder to come about. This will usually pit two aspects of a person's life against each other in a battle for time and attention. Obstacles to a person's progress and growth usually arise as a result of squares and these are things that must be dealt with if a person is going to continue forward with any success. Squares do however offer a person tests they need to gauge their progress in life and create opportunities for people to develop new skills and abilities as well as forcing them to dig deep and show they can triumph over adversity.
