The Yod
The Yod is formed when one planet quincunxes two planets that are in sextile to each other. It forms a bit of a Y shape. Often called the "Finger of God" or the "Finger of Fate", the planet that forms the quincunxes in the Yod is the focal point of the configuration. This planet is the one that causes troubles and presents the problems, and it is the job of the two planets in sextile to each other to solve that problem. A person with this configuration often knows what they must do with regards to the focal planet, but their means of solving the problem maybe unorthodox and wholly ineffective.
