Mercury is connecting to Jupiter & means that somehow, someway, the stories told that are told will get exaggerated or blown out of proportion... Just like the classic "fish" stories where somehow the fish keeps growing in size every time the story is told... hehehee... (No, seriously daniel, it was that big... WHatever... I mentioned it in the daily 'scopes this past week & I'll stress this again... With Pluto in Capricorn squaring Saturn (retro) in Libra... (both connected to a retro Mars too)... The universe is making it very clear that it expects each of us to become as self sufficient & self reliant as possible... This is very "earthy" energy that has a "hands-on" vibe to it... That doesn't mean you have to do everything by yourself... But it does mean that when push comes to shove, you need to be in a position where you control your own fate & destiny... That someone else doesn't have "the power" over making the choices of what you do & what you get.

Venus in Aries... Imagine the girl (Veruca Salt) in the original Willy Wonka movie singing her "Bean Feast" song... "I don't care how, I want it now"... That's the core driving energy pattern in this week's chart... Add in a retro Mars in Leo (I just want what I want)... You have the makings of some of the most serious selfish & self-centered energy you'll come across in a long time... You can see sides of people's inner character you've never seen before, as parts of what really motivates them becomes exposed. Horoscope for Virgo

There is a tendency to get lost or carried away by the praise & compliments of others... But with Mars & Saturn retro, it's also very easy you might be being used or manipulated for someone else's gain or ego satisfaction. I'm here to tell you that you would be wise to take a moment & consider that each & everyone might happen to have ulterior motives or using you as a "means to an end". What tends to happen is that while your focus & attention is being distracted, someone/something walks away with your possessions of value. The best thing you can do is take a cold hard look & appreciate what you have!!
