We've got a lot going on this month during the Sun in Cancer cycle. The back bone of this energy is rooted in security. People are going to be looking out for each other and we're going to be looking out for ourselves. We'll have a general invested interest in the people around us, because with strong bonds also comes people we can fall back on during tough times.

The first week of the month brings in heavy Saturn influence, starting on the 21st when Venus and Mars combine forces in a positive aspect with Saturn. There might be some challenges to be faced, but these can be worked with rather easily as long as you can manage to find harmony with those around you. Form teams (or utilize existing ones) to get over the hump in anything that you do. It's a good day for sports, especially if you've got others encouraging you along the way. This is also a day where you can clearly see how work will pay off for you and this will help you continue to give your best efforts to get the things you want and need.

The next aspect comes on the 23rd when the Sun moves across from Pluto. This is going to be a day to watch out. Carelessness can lead to various type of loss, be through items, opportunities or whatever else. This is also going to be a day where people are going to base their decisions on what they want over anything else, even the feelings of others. Try not to create big rifts in your personal relationships. People are also going to be looking to flex whatever muscle they have to get things done which can lead to some testy situations as people battle for supremacy.

Then Mercury and Saturn have their difficulties on the 26th. Much of the hard work you put in earlier in the week can easily be undone with a couple of poorly thought out words, so watch what you say to others today. This isn't the best time to come up with new ideas - think writer's block. There might also be some important information that you can't seem to deliver to others (or doesn't find its way to you). Make sure you are on top of important matters and don't settle for blocks in communication; find a way to get in touch with people.

Neptune and Jupiter are going to be paired up with one another for most of the month, but July 1st is noteworthy because they'll be influenced by both Mercury and Venus. The Venus connection is a tougher one. It's going to be a day where we think we can get away with a little extra greed than normal, which might lead to us pushing some limits. There's a romantic bent as well, but in the sense that we can have some misconceptions about those we have or are developing feelings for. If you do care about someone though, this is a time where you can score big through acts of unselfishness.

The Mercury side of things works a little better. It's going to be easier to let others know what it is you want (which combined with the Venus energy makes achieving these wants easy if you're willing to ask). Ideas are going to get sharper once again and you should be able to make a link between the things you're aspiring to do and the planning stages of making those things happen. This is a great day for social networking and getting others involved in your projects (or joining the projects they're working on). Again, given the Venus side of things, if you are in a cooperative effort, it's important that everyone is putting in an equal amount of effort (or it can undermine the harmony within the group).

The 3rd is then going to see Mercury moving into Cancer. This is a step out of a strong position for Mercury so you should anticipate less effective communication between you and others. On the downside, people are going to be more prone to nagging. You'll also notice some people are giving advice out that others don't really want to hear (though they should listen to it). You can be on either side of this energy. On the plus side, you might get some advice (whether you appreciate it or not) that can really get you out of some jams, if not helping you avoid them altogether.

Mercury is then going to be opposite of Pluto on the 4th of July. It's important to note that some things might be said that can't be taken back. If you get irritated here, it's a good idea to step away until you calm down before addressing any situations. There can also be a bit of chaos here or there, leading to troubles in communication, like playing phone tag or accidentally deleting an e-mail.

A day later, Venus is going to move into Gemini (the 5th). This is also a move from a position of strength to a sign where it is not as powerful. Through this cycle, communications with others might be plentiful, but they can lack substance. This can extend to relationships, where you might deal with a good bit of phoniness out of others or you might get along with someone for business purposes but not a genuine like of someone.

On the 6th, Mars is going to have some trouble with Jupiter and Neptune. This can be a really tough day with regards to the effort you put in towards your greater aspirations. There can be some setbacks, but primarily the problems will come from a lack of motivation. You can lose your hunger to succeed here and it's all too easy to take breaks at a time when you really can't afford to. Those of you who will do well here are the ones who dig deep and come up with a way to take care of business when work becomes less fun and more of a chore.

Things settle down for a little while until the 11th when Mars moves into Gemini. This can restore a bit of aggression to the way interact with others. People can get a little more pushy and assert that they know a lot (even if they don't). It's going to become more important to control situations and to be the one calling the shots; if this isn't happening, you can become a backseat driver which makes the one running the show less effective. At the same time though, people will be more committed to working things out mentally which should lead to fewer roadblocks.

The Sun is then going to hook up with Mercury on the 13th. This should be a strong day in working with family because you can get your thoughts across coherently. It's also going to be a good day to check the status of different things you're working on (and to make adjustments). If there are important questions you have to ask others, this is a day you can also expect good responses.

A few days later, on the 16th, Mercury will then hook up with Uranus. There can be some brilliant ideas that arise here, some bizarre, some that make a ton of sense but just haven't been thought up yet. It's a good time to think about travel issues and how you can become more efficient in that way. Some of your dissenting views can come out here, which might force your hand in areas you'd been considering change, but at the same time, you might be ready for it.

Mercury moves into Leo on the 17th. People are going to be looking to talk themselves up a good deal here. There can be more boastful behavior and some 'Look at me!' moments. But above all, this will allow for a pretty confident mindset (especially in social settings). People are going to gain a stronger level of comfort in groups and they might speak a little more freely (without regrets or worries of hurting feelings) than the previous cycle. This is a time where you can use your mouth as a primary tool for getting ahead.

On the 18th, the Sun is going to be working with Uranus. This can be a time of great change, but that change has to be in line with a vision you have mentally. The details can almost work themselves out, but it's still up to you to steer the ship. Don't sit by and watch things going on in front of you; this is a time to take some aggressive chances in order to get closer to your ideals. This is also a great day to develop any ideas or plans you've been working on.

The last aspect of this cycle comes on the 21st when Venus and Saturn hook up. This energy is going to demand a level of fairness in your personal relationships in addition to how you manage your possessions and money. If you are being too greedy, the Universe will step in and dole out some retribution. It's days like these where you need to remember what's truly important in the world. You might also have to work out some conflicts in your schedule (that can usually leave you to choose between hanging out with others or staying behind to get more work done).

In all, the month is fairly balanced with a few good transits and a few bad ones. Remember to use the challenging aspects to raise your own game and show others what you can do. These are your opportunities to make improvements to your situation. Use the positive aspects to recharge your batteries and enjoy the good times they bring. It's up and down throughout the month, so you shouldn't have to worry to much about getting tired out or over stressed. Best of luck.
