There can be a great deal of fireworks going on in your personal relationships today, particularly when you let your individual desires and the temptation of power and control guide your decisions. What can happen is that you can run into these situations with a ton of potential, where you stand to make huge gains. But in order to take advantage of them, you might have to step over someone else around you. This can occur in a manner that makes it pretty clear, "I'm choosing this opportunity over our personal relationship."

So there's that to contend with. This creates some pretty intense decision making moments, where you have to sort of weigh everything at hand. In truth, many of the opportunities that can arise here might seem too good to pass up. Some of them probably are. The real key therefore is communication. If you can explain your rationale to others, they'll be more forgiving, and they might not take it so hard if you decide to go in another direction. But if you expect them to figure things out on their own, and you don't express a compassionate tone as you reject something (or someone), the emotional side of things will tend to kick in, and that's when the fireworks start going off (and everyone else tends to run and hide).

So be open about things, try to see others' points of view and above all, look to keep things on a civil and calm level with others. It's the escalations that bring about the negative potential. Best of luck.

The real troubles you'll tend to face involve being critical of others, especially if they're in a rough spot. You don't want to kick someone when they're down, but at the same time, there is probably a pretty simple reason why they're down to begin with. This means you might have to be the one to suck it up and tell someone where they are relentlessly failing at life. If you can be strong enough to do this, people around you might actually start making improvements for themselves and you won't have to carry so much of their burden.
