As we head into the weekend, beware of some of the negativity that can seep into your conversations. It's a tougher time to stay positive because of the emotional state many of us will reside in, where it only takes one thing that doesn't go our way to turn the overall tide. In some instance this can lead to arguments, but more often than not it can lead to nagging or complaining that others don't really want to hear. So it's important to put petty thoughts behind you and save your criticisms for situations that actually need them.

On a bigger scale, we're also going to have some issues in career areas of life. There can be blockades to progress that arise, situations that discourage you from moving ahead or aspiring to more, as well as some situations that backfire and leave you worse off than when you started. So you have to navigate carefully. Know whose toes not to step on. Play it safe and you should be alright.

Above all, as you head into the weekend, try to be more cautious than you're normally used to. There's a lot of energy flying around there and people might not act as predictably as you'd expect. You want to stay on your toes and you always want to be prepared in case something unpleasant happens. In most cases the real key to making it through in good condition isn't what happens to you, but rather how you end up dealing with it. Best of luck.

There can be a lot of talk here about what you're “going to do”, but you can be a little slower to put bold claims into action. Much of what you do will do has the intention of making a point to others, but in the grand scheme of things, it's counterproductive. In many ways, it's like kids doing foolish things on a dare just so their friends won't call them chicken. So don't overreact to the premise of others challenging your pride; it takes more courage to stand up and say no.
