There are times in life where people can say things just to elicit a reaction out of others. This is sort of the vibe today, as you’ll notice a lot of the conversation can tend to be riding along a negative bent. Some people are just trying to stir the pot. Others might be trying to rattle you, to get you unsteady enough so that they can jump in and steal your opportunities. It’s not the best of transits for socializing in that manner. However, you don’t have to buy into the negative aspects. You can take the high road.

With Venus conflicting with Neptune this week, you can see people selling out for certain desires, only to have them discover once they’ve obtained said things that they have wound up with a bill of goods. So if someone is trying to cut you down, it’s probably based upon some sort of false promise. Don’t let it get you down. When you pass them by later on, and you see them struggling with the huge pile of crap they tried so hard to take from you, you can give them the old wave and the nod that says “Good luck with that”. In some ways the things you end up saying to others can seem pre-scripted, as though someone else is using your mouth as their bullhorn. This can be somewhat awkward when your own personal inclinations would tell you that you should say something else. It’s important to make the distinction between suggestion and requirement – if something is a suggestion you might try to make it your own, but if it’s a requirement, you better stick to the script.
