When change comes around, usually you're going to have people who default to the normal. They want things to stay the way they are, sometimes because they're in an advantageous situation, or it could be just because they are averse to something different occurring. As the old saying goes, better the devil you know than the one you don't know. But that's a misleading mindset - a lot of the greatest developments in the history of man came simply because some people refused to accept things had to stay the same. They looked at things from a new perspective, experimented and found things that worked better than they were before.

With the Sun hooking up with Uranus today, this is the sort of thing we can see happening around us. Evolution can be hard, and it can have its share of failures, roadblocks, debates and outright opposition along the way. It's not energy that rolls out a red carpet for you - there can be a lot of tough situations that come along over the course of the day (and the next few days). But dealing with them, sticking to goals and showing a determination others won't ultimately leads to growth and better circumstances down the line. It's putting up with the crap today because you know tomorrow will be better.

So that's at the crux of the current chart. Saturn, the Node and Pluto are going to spend a while driving the change bus in our lives over the next couple months, but today is a day where you assert your position for what you want moving forward. Sometimes the difference between success and failure in a situation merely comes down to how well you were positioned for it at the beginning, so make sure you get on solid ground today. Family pressures can occasionally pop up here, and it's the sort of thing where even if others are making sense, you might still try to find a contrarian point of view. You don't want to let this sort of thing destabilize you too much though. While the energy can shake you out of comfort zones as a way of helping you expand them, you still want to have some kind of sense that you'll have a place to fall back on if things start to go wrong. Look for ways to make incremental progress in the things that you do.
