We're currently in a stretch where it's increasingly important to look at the bigger picture. When we look at things from an individual perspective, there's only so much we can see. We all have our biases. We all have things we think constitute success, progress and indicators that we've been doing a good job. However, at times, especially like right now, these indicators and our biases can distract us from the bigger goals. It's these ideas and our attitudes about them that might actually be taking us further away from our goals.

With that in mind, if you come about situations where things aren't turning out as you hoped, stop thinking about your individual contributions. Think about what you're doing and how it impacts everything else that's going on. How are you fitting in to what others around you are doing? How valuable are the actions that you're taking? Are you making things more about you than everyone else?

This energy can benefit more from a "take two steps backward before taking a step forward" approach. Be your own worst critic first. Try to cut out a lot of the illusion and get down to what's really happening around you. Once you gain that understanding, it's a lot easier to be productive, get through challenges and work in teams with others. Best of luck.

You might find the things you're doing matter more to you than the others around you, which can be irritating if it seems like they aren't taking things seriously enough. You might have to come up with some inventive ways to get others more involved in what you're doing, but you can't make what they're doing essential to your own positive attitude about it. You might have to swim against the tide to an extent here, because you can tend to be a bit too demanding and set bars too high. That can naturally make things more difficult, but you can pull it off if you bear down on what you're doing.
