Don't read too much into the way others respond to you, as you can tend to amplify negative vibes here, rather than shaking them off.
At the same time, you have control over how you approach others, especially in those situations where you need to get them to do something. A gentler approach can be more effective (at least at the start), but even if you have to up the intensity a bit, you can do so without belittling people. Focus on what makes things important and avoid making personal statements about people that can escalate matters. A lot of times overthinking things will end up being your main problem. If nothing comes to mind immediately, try stepping away from it for a little bit.
