Happy Valentine's Day!

It's a busy weekend astrologically, with a couple of different aspect at play (which can always make things a little more confusing). We'll start with the rough stuff.

Mercury and Mars are across from each other which can really drive home this "now or never" intensity into saying things you feel you need to say. But is it really "now or never", or is it some form of internal impatience (perhaps the desire to quickly exit an awkward or discomforting situation)? This is key, because people will tend to blurt everything out, but when they do that, things come out wrong and things are misinterpreted. With a transit like this, it's essential that you think things through first before saying them. And don't say anything when you're all super charged with emotion either; if it's truly important, you need to wait until you've settled down and you can speak with some clarity.

As we veer into Valentine's Day, things improve as the Sun hooks up with Neptune. This is going to really trigger our level of creativity and imagination (which is cool for those of you who have dates set up). But what's really going to be driving this energy is the presence of faith and hope that your dreams and wishes will come true. Neptune tends to help us connect mental dots in a way that makes things seem more realistic. Sometimes this isn't to our benefit (when our observations are off), but the way this energy is set up, it can help you see some how things could go your way. It can allow you to see opportunity in things that you haven't been giving yourself a chance in.

Things are shaping up a little bit here for a nice little stretch. If you can navigate the Mercury-Mars energy, things should be alright. Give yourself a chance to succeed and try to ignore any pressure weighing down upon you (because it's probably perception and not the reality). Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Aries

Saying the right things to keep the peace might help you maintain your social bonds this weekend, but it's not going to help you further any of your goals. In order to make progress, you need to be a bit of a rabble rouser. Playing the "friend" card and hoping people go along with you isn't going to work. It's almost as though you need to shock others to get them to look inward; only then will people come around to your positions (and eventually be of service). But there's a fine line, and if you come on too aggressive, you stand a chance at pushing others away.
