Personal agendas are going to win out over the course of the weekend, and this is something you need to keep in mind not only from your own individual perspective but from that of others as well. Others might be more prone to ignoring your requests as they look out for what’s best for themselves. With Mercury retro, you need to be on guard for telling people things only to have them fly right over others’ heads. Remember that just because you said something doesn’t mean others heard it.

In addition to this, this can be the beginning of a “cooling off” cycle in terms of personal relationships. It’s going to be harder to relate to others, and often times you might feel underappreciated, particularly in situations where the things you like don’t mesh up equally with things others like. Interactions with others can tend to be more “need-based”, and when we don’t immediately need something, we might keep to ourselves.

In all, this is a time where energy is probably best spent working on personal endeavors, unless you can band together with a small group to accomplish a mutual goal. But it’s the goals that end up dictating how interactions turn out, and you also need to keep in mind that differing views on how to accomplish said goals can provide a wedge that can tear people apart. It’s not insurmountable energy, but you should give others some leeway if they aren’t as friendly as you’re generally accustomed to. Best of luck.
