Daily Horoscope for Aries Summary

This week's energy brings us into “Shoot yourself in the foot” territory. Goals might be well-defined, but what good is that if the actions you take continuously oppose what you want in the long run. It's wanting to lose weight and eating two hamburgers at the cookout (guilty). So goals have to become something more than a mental idealization; you have to take steps to make them a reality. This can be even harder right now though because it's going to be easier to get down on yourself, which eventually leads to more counterproductive behavior.

So ask yourself how important things might be. It's easy to fall prey to the allure of certain goals, and sure, dreaming about the way things may be can be a pleasure-filled experience. It's also not real. Most people in positions of success don't wake up one day in an awesome spot; they had to do something of note to get there. But to say you have to work hard to get where you want to be underscores the nature of the transit. More often than not, people here will fail not because they didn't work hard, but because they didn't decide to work hard (and by work hard, I also mean this to encompass other activities that might not entail work, but making the more difficult decision). You don't necessarily have to walk through fire and brimstone to come out ahead right now, but you do have to avoid doing the stupid crap that you don't think about that compounds to make a situation more difficult. Things like procrastination, poor eating habits, failing to properly express your feelings to others, these are all activities that become more prevalent now, and they're really simple to avoid, as long as you make that mental commitment to do them. So be tougher mentally, and don't fall prey to the simple temptations that loom out there for you. And if you want something bad enough, commit to chasing it down, because dreaming isn't going to get you there; only putting yourself out there will. Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Aries

There's a tendency to hold onto the past, and that's something you've got to get beyond if you're going to start moving forward again. You're looking for change, but prone to doing the same things over and over again (especially if there's some short term pleasure associated with them). You have to break free of this and look at the bigger picture. You can find longer lasting pleasure in the things you want to do, it's merely a matter of giving yourself a chance to get those things started.
