Public gets irate but forget the vote date
Weatherman complaining, predicted sun, it's raining
Everyone's protesting, boyfriend keeps suggesting you're not like all of the rest.

Garbage ain't collected, women ain't protected
Politicians using people, they've been abusing
The mafia's getting bigger, like pollution in the river
And you tell me that this is where it's at.

Woke up this mornin' with an ache in my head
Splashed on my clothes as I spilled out of bed
Opened the window to listen to the news
But all I heard was the Establishment's Blues.

Gun sales are soaring, housewives find life boring
Divorce the only answer smoking causes cancer
This system's gonna fall soon, to an angry young tune
And that's a concrete cold fact.

The pope digs population, freedom from taxation
Teeny Bops are up tight, drinking at a stoplight
Miniskirt is flirting I can't stop so I'm hurting
Spinster sells her hopeless chest.

Adultery plays the kitchen, bigot cops non-fiction
The little man gets shafted, sons and monies drafted
Living by a time piece, new war in the far east.
Can you pass the Rorschach test?
It's a hassle is an educated guess.
Well, frankly I couldn't care less.

A couple weeks ago I told you guys of the story about a man named Rodriguez from Detroit who recorded some songs back in '69... His music didn't get any air-play here in the USA, but his records sold great on the other side of the planet... He was famous & a Star in South Africa & in Australia... He never knew about it, or made a dime from the millions of records sold... He just went back to doing hard construction work back in Detroit...

Anyway... The point I want to make goes like this... We all say we want changes to occur in our lives... The words sound good when we say them... But it's a concrete cold fact that people resist change in their life like the plague!! hehe... Why?.... "Because that's the way we've always have done things"... hehe... (you've heard that a ga-jillion times before)... Anyway...

If you read the lyrics above, of his song dating back from 1969... and compare it to today... You can see absolutely nothing has changed in Detroit... or in places like Buffalo NY where I live or in so many of cities... In almost 50 years!!!... The same leaders... The same politics... The same rhetoric about being for the workin' man... (blah blah blah)... The only changes we've had were that things have actually gotten worse... That's because once you are assigned to a "political group" you are sure to be forgotten and taken for granted... There is no need for the politicians to do anything, because they know they have your vote regardless of what they say or do... Is Spitzer or Weiner the best NYC has to offer for Mayor? hehe... Madness!!!

But alas... In our current chart we have Uranus connected to Mars in a way where the Big Spirit will go out of it's way to show each and everyone of us how we can break free from the ruts, routines and habits of Modern Life and move our lives into a more positive direction... We've heard all the words, this is a chart that wants and demands that actions are taking and that things will improve... This energy will continue to get stronger too... And Uranus connected to Pluto tells the same story too... Lead... Follow... Or get the hell out of the way... And allow someone who will find a way to get things done!!...

Ok... That's my rant today... Haven't been able to get it out of my mind since I was painting the porch yesterday afternoon... hehe...
