It’s a great time of year for a weekend…the Sun enters Virgo and you can almost taste the anticipation in our minds clinging like the last vibrancy in the green leaves, summer is still upon us… Now, is a time to squeeze in all we can & this goes double for the weekend as the anticipation rises in a sensual way like the last kiss of the days’ sun.

While this is a tremendous time for social occasions, it is most certainly an even better time for connecting with others one-on-one. The Sun hooks up with Mercury right now and makes for stimulating situations designed to wake up the imagination and cast a new light on future events. What’s super interesting about this energy is how it forms a link between past and future, it’s the insights gained right now in interaction with others that help define the path ahead…a time where we must be open to new possibilities and take action on the opportunities at hand.

With so much energy from Venus, it is simply a great time to show off a little and put some added flair into our personal presentation as well as in our efforts to connect with others. This is when a little embellishment goes a long way to grab and hold the attention of others…

On a deeper level, this energy is all about roots- when two plants grow close enough together, underground their roots mingle and become connected in a way, you can’t uproot one without affecting the other. This is exactly like the energy at hand as personal change and growth can cause our roots to become strained right now…in a way this is a delicate process that must be attended to with much care. With deep emotions there is always a connection to both sides of the emotional spectrum, to love what you hate about someone may just be the deepest connection we can have, but nothing matters as much as loving Ourselves despite of what we hate about Ourselves….this process speaks of transformation in its deepest sense with a focus to mend what is in the bend…
