If you take the time to read the above quote, or have seen the movie No Country For Old Men…then you’ve probably had a little time to think about what all it’s meaning. In light of our current energy for the weekend, I’d say it sheds a whole new light. Dreams, uncovering, decoding, the mystery, self determination, chance…it’s all pretty much there…

In fact, it ends up tallying up a lot like Life itself. There’s a lot of different interpretations out there for the scene, but I’d have to say depending on what angle you are looking at it from- today, this moment…Life itself always has a lot of different interpretations too, none are wrong if they are yours. The main character is an intense one, a man of the law who dreams that he looses the money his father gives him- this dream is hazy and dim…just like the actual role of money in life. The second dream is a lot more detailed, and highlights the fact that his father is headed to make a fire “somewhere out in the dark and cold” where he will eventually meet him. Like I said, you can interpret this in many ways but every single day we have the choice between focusing on the material or seeking our true purpose…shedding light, warmth, protection…building upon the fires inside our own soul, often in what seems like the big “dark and cold”…

That’s the gist of it friends. It’s a good flick, a little violent, but the end scene is worth checking out. Building our own fires…this is the time for that.

We can expect a little of the blunt nature right now, on the scen, and in others… people are bound to expose a bit of their true nature, likely without even trying. While this might often come in code for us to decipher, that’s the fun and the way to learn about ourselves. The key with all this energy is seeking the deeper meaning, and it’s intensely personal. This however, is exactly what makes it so interesting right now. Make no mistake as it takes a lot of personal courage to go out into the “dark” and carry our own light.

It’s a great weekend to play things a little low-key and relax…with all the intensity, the necessity to carve out a space of tranquility is a must. This can be a great time to make a communal journey between kindred spirits- and it doesn’t have to involve anything more than sharing your light within…watching it grow with the right company, carving a space all to ourselves…
