We’ve got some interesting things going on in the big skies right now. Our usually invisible mercury is visible just after sunset, instead of being blinded by being in front of the sun. Then we have a Black moon on our heels representing a second new moon in January that is very close to earth. All this as we roll into the Chinese New Year, and the second month of the year.

Mercury is all about entering new territory right now, we can expect new awakenings and new information…probably just enough to push everything off kilter a bit and force us to have to consider our next step forward with greater clarity and sense of importance. Tie this in with an intense, yet waning Lunar powerhouse of renewing energy and it’s clear that this can be challenging time for many as we struggle with moving into this new territory.

The thing to keep in mind is that this challenge is affecting all of us and giving each other and ourselves a little space and time to sort things out right now is key. The other part of this equation is letting the love flow through…it’s easy when we are in love and directing our love at someone else who’s giving it back in return. This is when we nearly seem to feel as if we are floating through the day, everything is just that much easier. What about when that same love feeling is directed at the Self? We tend to judge ourselves and criticize ourselves for so much of the time, instead of letting go, loving, and starting each moment anew like the pure gift it is. This can be the most essential tool right now as we enter into a whole new energetic phase. The winds of change are blowing.
