Dear Century, your sweet 16 is here.

And maybe centuries never wanted to be defined by their decades, but we've been doing it so long that I can't remember when we didn't....and maybe the history of those days are all the more lost for it. But here she is, the sweet 16 and for many of us here, the sentiment won't be lost.

"Dear child, just what have you bought, just what have you sacrificed?"

Tell you the truth, when I turned 16 (more than half my life ago) I sure wasn't planning on anything sweet.... Most days I'd trade for salty, bitter, sour and spicy wrapped in one.

New beginnings. Of course it's just another day, but the UNIversal sentiment wrapped within the donning of a brand new calendar brings waves of mass energy rolling in, swim past these, you may.

The chart however is a spasm of New Beginnings with a killer amount of emerging energy as a number of planets lie in the boundaries between houses, on edge. With Mars on the cusp of Scorpio, Mercury on the edge of Aquarius, and the point of fortune on the cusp of Libra, we've got half the chart on the edge and ready for change. The really cool part about this chart is how much momentum is being built up and how much this will drive the overall level of passion for personal change in the upcoming year...the crazy part is how much energy is at play and can easily work at cross purposes if it not give enough space and time to operate freely. This is more of a stand back and watch the tides shift than jump in and seek the current kind of energy. IT's really about giving respect the forces at hand and opening up to the humbling nature of the divine unfolding in front of us..... heck no, control is Not needed all the time, and thankfully so. Some days are much more cut out for kicking back with our feet up and dreaming the dream....
