Hey Moon-Doggies...
We have the Sun and Mercury exactly aligned at 0 degrees as they both move into the sign of Cancer today... This is important for 2 reasons... The first is obvious as any time the Sun shifts signs, it means we will be dealing with a brand new energy pattern.
The sign of Cancer is the Cardinal Water sign... It is very intuitive and emotional... Although it can be very emotional and sentimental, at it's core it is extremely strong and dynamic... Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra & Capricorn) are the ones that are there to get things moving... They are there to set the wheels of change into motion and they are the North, South, East & West as well as Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
The Sign of Cancer is very important and plays a major role in the areas of finance and wealth... It's where we use our intuition to look ahead into the future to determine our needs... Like making sure we plant the seeds in the spring so there'll be a harvest in the fall... It's not "greedy" energy as it's more parental as it's primary concern is ensuring the survival of those it loves and cares about.
The other important factor in today's chart is Mercury and the Sun being exactly aligned... Work with me on this... Mercury always has a bad reputation when it goes retro... But the truth in the room is that Mercury retrogrades are there to "FIX" the problems that occur when Mercury races ahead of the Sun... (like it is right now)... Mercury's job in the Zodiac is to be the Messenger... But what happens is that when it races ahead, the messages it is supposed to deliver sometimes gets distorted.
It's like when a parent says "Tell your brothers to be home BY 10pm"... But the message gets delivered as "Oh, Mom said you should be home AROUND 10pm".... It's those little differences that can make a hell of a lot of difference in the way the events play out... So right now, it's very important to get instructions or the details in writing to make sure there will be no misunderstandings later on.
If you go the extra mile right now, you won't have to fear Mercury retrograde later on... This means taking care of potential problems now... Especially things that relate to communication and transportation... (the things that Mercury looks after)... Like Bud taking his car into the shop for quick and easy fix yesterday where had he waited it would have cost a small fortune to fix if the entire system failed.
