The new year kicks off with a rush of energy, as Mars and Jupiter combine to get people motivated. Everything in our minds will be looking up and full of potential. It's a good time to get new plans started and to take current endeavors to the next level. There is a solid element of growth and things will generally seem simpler to pull off for now. All you have to do is take care of what needs to be done.

The underlying element of the energy is you're going to be a bit touchy about your successes and failures. You'll want your successes to be trumpeted, while you don't want others to know about your failures. What takes it to another degree here is you'll be a bit more secretive about the plans you have. You will tend to keep things under wraps to others until you're sure how they're going to turn out. Once you think you're in the clear, you can unveil what you've come up with.

Along the same lines, you're also going to have an extra gear you can kick into once things start to get difficult. Your drive here can surge, and once you encounter some trouble, you can elevate your performance to overcome any obstacles that get in your way. It might not be the smoothest road in the world, but you'll be ready to take it on. All told, it's a pretty good chart, and one that coincides well with the beginning of another year. Stay active and striving towards your goals and you should see some decent progress along the way. Best of luck.

In order to truly engage with something right now, you need to care about it; otherwise, you're just going to be going through the motions. This works well for the things you already are passionate about. The things you aren't so enthralled with can take some work though. With this in mind, it's up to you to find ways to find something about lesser efforts that can get you to pay more attention to them. It might help to inject a little competitive spirit into them, even if there's nothing inherently competitive about them.
