Crazy Days and Crazy Nights...
This is when things can get pretty bizarre Moon-doggies as Mercury retreats backwards towards the Sun... It is like being a kid, and your Mom sends you to the store to get something, but your mind was racing ahead thinking of other things and when you get to the store you have completely forgotten what she asked you to get... hehe... (or something like that)... hehe...
What I really like about astrology is how there are multiple layers of energy all being played out at the same time... It is very much like "Game Theory" where there is an infinite energy that will continue to go on forever, and the immediate energy that has to be dealt with right now... (like the difference between the weekly and daily horoscopes)... And like any game, there are certain strategies needed... In the infinite game, the objective is to thrive, survive and continue playing... While in the immediate game, the objective is to win that current round of activity.
In the astrological infinite game, we are dealing with Jupiter moving forward and creating the conditions for what is yet to come... As well as Saturn backing up and making sure the foundation we are planning our future upon, is solid and strong and can survive any storms/challenges that may appear... And in the immediate game, we have Mercury retro in Leo that reminds us to remain humble and not allow our pride or ego to get in the way of our own progress... Guys like Gandhi understood this very well.

During these retrograde times, I often suggest making (writing) an "action plan" to stay focused on both the long-term goals as well as the short-term objectives... This helps to prevent ourselves from getting ahead of ourselves and to keep us on track... And that is how I approach reading horoscope charts too... The outer planets control the infinite game (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto)... and the inner planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars) control the immediate game... When you can balance the energy, it establishes a forward moving flow... And even when you encounter unexpected obstacles, you merely back up, make the corrections and then get back into the flow... Simple huh?... I call it "Life for Slow Learners"... hehe... Because mutants like us need all the extra help we can get... hehe... Have a great Weekend!!
