It's a Dowd Thing...
While some people may dream of winning a lottery... There is no doubt that those in my 'fam-bly' have won the 'family' lottery... Where all these 'mutants' are able to join together... Imagine how awesome it would be to be able to get to 90% of your 'fam-bly' together in less than 5 minutes... Yeah, it's a Dowd thing,

Hard Times...
Yeah, we've been through them... Our Mom and Dad faced more than their share of challenges when we were kids... But the amazing thing is that we (my brothers and sisters) never even realized how hard the struggles our parents were dealing with... We always knew we were the most important thing to them.

I think the best part... Is that 'the olds' (our parents) never darken'd our dreams... They left it up to us to pursue them... The 'olds' never passed judgment on us... (probably because they were too busy tryin' to hold it all together)... Whatever our dreams might be... They believed in us, and we learned to believe in ourselves and others too... As we got older, and as so many of those dreams came true... Some would ask us how it was possible... we'd just shrug and say "It's a Dowd thing"... hehe...

Yeah... It's a Dowd thing...
None of those labels that 'Modern Life' throw at us are valid... In our world, we all are the same... colors, preferences, labels, or names are not relevant... We help each other when asked, but know to 'stay out of it' when we are not asked too... It's called respect.

I hope all you guys develop your own 'name-thing' too... hehe... Where you know to stand on your principles and values... To believe in yourself and your dreams and abilities even if others 'don't see it'... But most importantly, to never lose sight of what really matters most... Friends and Family... Or to sum it all up... It's a Dowd thing... hehe... Make it your family thing too!!!

On the Chans, we call it 'Where we go One, We go all'... 'WWG1WGA"...

Then again, it's 4am.... I've been re-programming computer-servers non-stop for the past few days and I am a bit burnt-out... (how is that for honesty?)... hehe...
