One of the things people can struggle with at times like this is "the way things are vs. the way things should be". People tend to be guided by logical progression more often than not, which allows for concepts like justice, morality and destiny, amongst others, to exist. We see things happen around us, and project what is supposed to happen from that.

However, the universe doesn't operate on these straight-shot timelines and rationales we put together. It can be more chaotic than that. This is life - if we could predict everything, it would be boring.
