One of the things people can struggle with at times like this is "the way things are vs. the way things should be". People tend to be guided by logical progression more often than not, which allows for concepts like justice, morality and destiny, amongst others, to exist. We see things happen around us, and project what is supposed to happen from that.
However, the universe doesn't operate on these straight-shot timelines and rationales we put together. It can be more chaotic than that. This is life - if we could predict everything, it would be boring. However, when life throws us a curveball we aren't ready for, particularly one that puts us in a rough spot, we often factor in the flipside, what we thought should have happened, when we process it. This might help out quantum you, but it ain't doing anything for this you.
As such, this is a time where we have to accept things as they are, as they happened, and that's the baseline for what we should do next. There's no rewind button to hit in most of life's situations, so don't bother looking for it. Look ahead to the future and what you can do with it. Maximize that - it's far more productive than wondering about what could have been. Best of luck.

You want to tread somewhat carefully because there can be some events today that might have an impact on your finances that you won't be ready for. This tends to happen more when you're in situations where you're no longer trying to wait around to see what's going to happen. It's this impatience that can cause you to get away from your plans and to head into unchartered territory, which will generally be things you aren't prepared for. If you are going to change course here, make sure you have done a little research on what to expect before you do.
