Summer is slowly drawing to a close with the kids back in school and the sun rising a little later and setting a little earlier now. Although fall is not quite here yet, the temperature is cooling a little, especially in the evening. I am an avid watcher of pyracanthas to predict what the winter weather will be like. I notice the tiny white flowers at the beginning of May. Sometimes sparse, sometimes making the bushes look like they are covered in snow. Then, on August 1, the orange berries appear, sometimes making the bushes look like they are on fire. The more flowers and berries, the harsher the winter. But this year, although the flowers bloomed right on time, the berries did not appear until the first of September! There are only a few right now, but sometimes it takes a few days for all of them to appear. Have any of you noticed strange pyracantha or any other abnormal things in nature recently? Let me know!

This weekend the moon moves into Scorpio, and we will tend to value our privacy, be more intense and can be brutally honest. We have less patience for small talk and prefer deep and meaningful conversations. Our emotions are close to the surface but secretive Scorpio means that they might be hidden from others. We may obsess on what or who provokes an emotional response from us.
