The more you resist, the more you will tend to get swept away by the results. Take a moment to think about where things seem to be heading and plot a course along those lines.

At the same time, there can be a general shift in the tone of conversation. People will be looking for sensible solutions that appear justified. There can be a lessening of the bluntness with which people will make claims. Things can also become a bit more social here as well. With this in mind, you should use this to your advantage – try to spark up connections that had previously foundered. A lot of the assumptions we’re prone to making about others will tend to fade as well, so you should be able to think about things with a much more open mind. Best of luck.
