There are times in life where people can say things just to elicit a reaction out of others. This is sort of the vibe today, as you’ll notice a lot of the conversation can tend to be riding along a negative bent. Some people are just trying to stir the pot. Others might be trying to rattle you, to get you unsteady enough so that they can jump in and steal your opportunities. It’s not the best of transits for socializing in that manner. However, you don’t have to buy into the negative aspects. You can take the high road.

With Venus conflicting with Neptune this week, you can see people selling out for certain desires, only to have them discover once they’ve obtained said things that they have wound up with a bill of goods. So if someone is trying to cut you down, it’s probably based upon some sort of false promise. Don’t let it get you down. When you pass them by later on, and you see them struggling with the huge pile of crap they tried so hard to take from you, you can give them the old wave and the nod that says “Good luck with that”. Some of your flaws can stick out like a sore thumb today, so you have to do whatever is necessary to try and minimize them. You can try to drag conversations away from anything that might end up being critical of you, but this is going to be difficult to pull off. You’ll have to be more inclined to defend yourself and your track record. Do so with confidence and don’t feel like you should be ashamed of any shortcomings; it’s all part of the learning process.
