Everyone likes to think about growth. It’s a cool concept – you have more in the future than you do now. Most people are going to sign up for that. But growth isn’t always a good thing, particularly when you aren’t ready to handle the responsibilities that come with having more. That’s the crux of Jupiter retrograde, which kicks in today.

You might start to see areas where you’re in danger of over-expansion. Say for instance you own a company and things are going great. You say to yourself “we can sell our product everywhere”, so you set up to globalize your product, and things still sell well elsewhere. However, when you get to this point, you don’t have enough resources to manufacture all of the goods you need to sell. You don’t have enough people on hand to handle all of the requests. Things slow down and the people buying from you start getting irritated with the service delays. These are the types of problems I’m talking about.

So when you think about how you’re going to grow moving forward, you need to make sure it’s at a consistent pace, that your dreams aren’t pushing you too far along the timeline and that you can handle the load. This will tend to affect businesses a lot here, but it can also occur to you individually as well (maybe you’re angling for a promotion you don’t have all the skills to undertake). So look within and ask yourself if you’re really ready. If the answer is no, it’s not the end of the line, but you should redouble your efforts to prepare and do what you need to do in order to handle the responsibilities ahead. Best of luck.

There are certain things that fall into autopilot mode. Today’s energy makes it a good time to look at these things in more detail. Perhaps you’ve been doing something the same way for so long that you have missed ways to alter it to make it more efficient for you. Perhaps you’ve been using a computer program from 2003 that works well for you, but now they have a 2014 version that automates 90% of the stuff you have to do manually in the old version. So look into things like that to see if improvements can be made.
