When we see these "wonders" in the sky like we just did with the total solar eclipse, it's a powerful visual reminder that this is a terrific time for fresh starts and new beginnings... Especially right now when all but 3 planets (Venus, Mars and Jupiter) are retrograde... It's like swinging a ball around that is on a string... It goes round and round until we let go of the string and then it shoots out in a straight line... The eclipses are there to help us to break free from the "circles" (ruts & routines) that keep us moving but not really making any progress.
As empowering as the eclipse energy can be, with all those retrograde planets at times it can feel like we have a boat anchor tied to our butt trying to hold us back... (draggin' the line)... hehe... Those planets serve the purpose to "temper" our spirit and determination so we don't start out all "revved up and ready" but then burn out just as fast... This energy is intended to be "smooth as glass" and to move forward at a relatively steady rate... Yeah, there'll be some "back and forth" that goes on, but it is very much like climbing a hill with a gentle slope.
The focus today is to try to sync our minds with our emotions... To look forward at our goals and objectives and deciding to really "go for it"... We don't have to have all the answers about how, when or why as those will be determined as we move forward... The biggest part (in my opinion) is making the conscious choice to want to improve or better our lives in some way... Once we do that, it is that choice that signals the universe to let go of the string of the spinning ball (example i used above) and send our lives in a new direction... Anyway... This energy today can be rather intense and emotional, so try to use it as a motivating force.
