Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary

Mercury is direct again, and you'll see things start to drift back to a state of normalcy. When Mercury goes retrograde, things get wonky and people can get flustered. It can create a bunch of problems, annoyances, delays, etc. But all of these things can serve to offer us a bit of perspective. They can provide us with evidence of the reasons certain things need to be done a certain way. They can reveal the true nature of things. When we go through the day to day on autopilot, we don't process a lot of these types of ideas and don't see these perspectives. Mercury retro serves as a reminder of why certain things are the way they are.

A couple of my buddies always seem to run into exes during the Mercury retro period, and they can get the feels about things that have gone by the wayside. But when I talk to them about it, there's always a rationale about why things didn't go in a certain direction. The desire in an instant is immediate and potent, but on a larger scale, you start to see the problems that existed and why people didn't end up together over the long haul.

Now that Mercury is direct again, it's our job to take this perspective and reapply it to the things we do in the day to day again. We'll lose that perspective again at some point, as we drift back into autopilot, and maybe that's why Mercury goes retro a few times a year. But even still, now is a good time for making adjustments and corrections to our paths. It's a stronger time for making changes that have a positive impact on our lives. We can see multiple sides of issues and come up with the most logical solutions. Things can still be a little crazy at times as we shift gears and Mercury gets back up to full speed, but focus on making smarter decisions with the long term in mind today and you can start to see some benefits. The energy has tendency to make you a bit OCD about your immediate environment. You can become overly concerned with how things are ordered, and it's the sort of thing that can be very distracting if things are a bit messy on your end. It'll help a great deal if you're able to get things straightened out first before engaging in any work or having important conversations. You can also get into conversations that put your core beliefs on display. As such, this can be a good time to argue for your convictions.
