Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary

It always seems as though right before you have the ability to really cash in on an opportunity, the universe gives you the chance to bail. It's never overt in the way it does this though; there's always these little tests to your commitment to see if you're going to be willing to follow something major through as far as you can take it.

The current energy is one of those things that fall under that scope of thought. We have the Sun opposite of Jupiter, so you'll see people making some hardheaded decisions out of principle, and they end up shooting themselves in the foot as a result. In your mind, you should be thinking "let's just get to the next step". It's particularly when you're unable to let things go that you're going to run into trouble. Having a sense for when to get past a tough situation rather than "defeat" it is going to be the key. It's those that get so frustrated that they're looking to destroy their barriers that end up making the biggest mistakes. I believe it was Nietzsche who said something along the lines of "Be careful when you look into the abyss, for the abyss also looks back into you."

So overall, the goal is to try and keep things short and sweet. And if not sweet, at least short. Like a boxer, stick and move from one task to the next. If something irritates you, let it go and move on. And don't stick to things out of principle, because that will only get your caught in the muck today. Best of luck.

When it comes to handling things, you can be very rigid. Everything T has to be crossed and every I has to be dotted. This can impair your dealings with others, as they're going to respond better when you loosen up some and let some of your creativity shine through. This could be a potent time for coming up with new inventions and discoveries, as long as you allow yourself to do so. That comes with letting go of some of the requirements you see as mandatory in order for things to operate, and you'll find that not all of those requirements are necessary.
