Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary

The ability to find clarity and make good decisions under duress is an important skill. It's the sort of thing that often ties into your mood and the context of your situations. If you're on a string of rough turns of events, you might act more impulsively. If you're riding a lucky streak, you're going to give things a longer leash and not be as inclined to get frustrated.

This comes into play today as we have Mars opposing the North Node. This can lead to situations where our impulsivity cause us to try and "accelerate the process" regarding the things we want. But the North Node is very much about trajectory. It's where we're headed. If we're heading somewhere solid, but can't wait to get there, altering the path can throw us off trajectory towards somewhere less desirable.

Today's energy can create some difficulties in areas where we want to change. We might have too much day-to-day crap to plod through, leaving us to relegate the things we should do to better ourselves to the backburner. Some will try to rush through everything, but that's where mistakes that require you to double back and do things over again happen. Likewise, in those areas where we're happy where we're going, we can try to skip parts, which also might take us off track.

It's a trickier sort of energy, and it's one that requires a balance between patience and a capacity to stay active. If you're too patient, you don't get things done. If you're not patient enough, you make bad decisions and can screw up plans. The happy medium is the goal, where you're able to wait long enough to make solid decisions, but once you have, you're out there hitting them hard, working to achieve them. If you stumble, don't get discouraged, and try to look at things in isolation. It can be a faster paced day, but you'll have capacity to control how quickly you handle things. Best of luck.

Your level of passion can take you down a number of paths today. This energy can be sexually charged as well, so you have to be careful about the temptations that can lurk out there. With the Node in the solar second house, poor decisions in this regard can have some stark financial ramifications (i.e. don't do anything that's going to get you divorced or lead you to cumbersome financial obligations). It's not a great time for commitments; if you think you want something, you're better off waiting and seeing how you feel about it a little down the road, because your mindset is likely to change.
