Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary

The energy is shifting a bit, though we're still in a bit of a rough patch overall. Mars and Mercury are still grouped, which can continue to put some of the "me-first" focus on thinking and communications, but that should lessen in intensity in the upcoming days, at least until Mercury goes retro again. Keeping that in mind, if you're going to be thinking primarily about yourself, you might as well make sure you're making the most of it. The energy is still prime for making strong personal decisions and alterations to lifestyles. You can really forge a stronger identity, though you do have to be ready to work for it.

At the same time, we have the Venus-Jupiter-Neptune T-Square kicking along for the next couple of days as well. The things we want to do won't necessarily jibe with the things we should be doing to grow. Additionally, a lot of what we're doing might run contrary to the goals we've set for ourselves. "The end we seek is not the end we hoped for." Keeping that in mind, it's going to help massively if you take an eye off the present once in a while to look ahead to the future. Are you on the path you think you're on? Are you making the decisions necessary to get you there? Are you keeping options open in case something better comes along? And most importantly, are you preparing yourself to take advantage of opportunities when they do arise?

The current chart is challenging, it has been for a while, and it will continue to be for a little bit beyond that, at least until the other planets get out of their Jupiter-Neptune or Pluto-Saturn connections. The things that are important might seem less so, and we might be less incentivized to bring our A-game everyday (due to all of the retrogrades). But really, the chart is all about progression, patience and preparation. It's getting everyone ready for the new phases developing in their lives. It doesn't do that at warp speed - people couldn't handle it. So it moves slow and allows people to get acclimated. We're in a period where we should be well adapted to our challenges. They're still challenges, but if things get frustrating or annoying, just remember you've still got this, and you have probably handled things much harder in recent past. Stay motivated and moving forward and the energy shifts from a burden to a blessing. Best of luck.

Spiritual mindsets can be a bit more challenging right now, because you might be too willing to turn things over to them. When things ramp up in difficulty, you are more willing to roll the dice and see how things turn out, rather than working as hard as you can to ensure they turn out fine. The big obstacle for you right now is effort and finding a way to make sure you're putting in enough of it. When you do though, you regain a lot of personal control over your situations, and you're better equipped to steer them in positive directions.
