Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary

There's a lot of short-term vs. long-term conflicts occurring right now, as all of the inner planets are finding opposition partners with the outer planets. For instance, we have the Olympics going on right now, where short-term interest would be "let's get the money in for the Olympics before it gets cancelled again", and long-term interest would be "well, no one will be there, and Japan doesn't really have Covid under control at the moment".

On these matters, I'm usually a long-term kind of guy, but that doesn't always mean long-term is the best-term. It's weighing your options carefully. There are plenty of situations in life where switching gears and doing something for right now is the better decision. If you've got well-laid out plans and the means to make them happen, usually long-term is the way to go. If everything is more loosely defined in your head though, you're not losing too much by opting to chase short-term pursuits.

The most important thing in all of this though, and the thing to remember for today, is short-term decisions don't necessarily mean rushed decisions. Think about what you stand to gain first from all of your options. Be wise about it. If you are, you're on the right track. It's when you bumrush ahead into whatever that you'll tend to get into trouble. Best of luck.

It's going to be easier to get sensitive about certain subjects, which at times might lead you be aggressive in the hopes of creating a buffer between you and others. At the same time, it also leads to times where you can avoid dealing with certain situations, hoping they might just go away. That's not likely to happen, so it's probably going to work out better for you if you just deal with things as they come up. This will be especially true in financial situations, where not getting on top of things at the beginning could cause losses to build up.
