Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary

It seems as though everything these days is some kind of divisive topic. There have always been divisive topics; there will always be divisive topics. That's not new. But in an age where people are dehumanized more and more, and where such a significant portion of people's interactions are virtual, we're handling them different than ever before. There's a degradation of the "closeness" that once defined the average relationship. People can take sides all they want and you can look at people who agree with you today and think you're "on the same team". But when a different topic comes up that you stand on either side of, what happens to your relationship then?

The current energy will magnify that to a great extent, as we have a Saturn-Uranus-Sun/Mercury T-Square going on. The element of "I can't back down; I can't lose" will be very strong. And when you're engaged in arguments/disagreements with others, allowing the sense of winning to overtake the need to actually figure out what's right does a disservice to all who are involved. You'll have people on both sides of arguments with valid points, blowing well past them in search of hyperbole and "destroying" those on the other side of the debate. "When two morons argue about something, a moron wins" - Aristotle (at least I think it was Aristotle).

So with that in mind, aim to be above the madness. If you want to correct others when they're wrong, fine - they're probably not going to listen to you but you tried. But try to learn something along the way so that you're smarter and more knowledgeable in understanding your own situations. Don't resort to extremes, as this is also one of those "cry wolf" transits where if you're full of crap, people will stop believing you. And above all, don't let petty squabbles get in the way of your relationships, because half of the things people will tend to argue about right now aren't all that important in the grand scheme of things. Don't be the one who lets minimal stuff drive a wedge in between you and others; recognize the humanity of those around you (especially in a virtual sense) and treat them as such. Best of luck.

Working with groups can be challenging because everyone is going to want to do things their way. If you're close minded about everything, nothing is ever going to get done, because no one will commit to starting on anything. So keep in mind where you're willing to make concessions and compromises and what things you think are absolutely necessary. There's an art of negotiation about a lot of things here, and if you excel on that end, you'll carve out more space for yourself.
