The short term vs. long term energy continues to play itself out today, and you need to have one eye in front of you and the other looking where you're going. The common theme of the past month has kind of been balancing the two out and making decisions based on what your best potential will be. That's going to continue on today.

For right now, you want to make sure that the things you're saying to the people around you are synching up with what you're actually planning to do. There can be some disconnects on this end, and when making plans with people, if you (or they) are flaky about holding up to your respective ends of the bargain, it can cause friction in relationships.

Beyond that, a common question people might seem to ask right now is "Why can't I have this"? The problem with that question here is that it tends to be exclusive. Some things just aren't going to be possible, and we'll tend to fixate on them. However, suitable alternatives exist, and we can write them off because they're not that thing "we really, really want". So if you open up the options that you'll accept, you're also opening up the pathways to find something you'll find satisfactory. In these terms, don't think of it as "settling". Think of it as finding a more realistic option that suits your needs. Managing these expectations is a huge part of the energy, and if you are able to do that, a lot of the stress and consternation you might otherwise feel will go away. Best of luck.

While you're going to want to be a bit more social with others who are nearby today, there can still be a little bit of apprehension on your end in initiating conversations. Finding ways to break the ice can get you rolling though and you can be quite talkative once you're in conversations. You do want to be careful about what you say though; some of your comments might seem a bit ignorant at times, even when that's not your intent. Understanding your audience makes this much easier to navigate, so think about things from their perspectives.
