Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary

This energy has a lot of intensity to it, where we can go through these supremely challenging situations right now (ones that generally linger for a while). This often manifests in terms of "the things you want most, you cannot have", so the question is how are you going to deal with that. We can be stubborn about our desires, about the life direction we wish to choose for ourselves, but it all has to stay in line with "the plan". Fighting against that is only a recipe for mental anguish.

When you are in what seems like a no-win situation, you need to accept things for what they are and move on from there. You can see a lot of people playing out the stages of grief here (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance) when things don't turn out like they hoped. That's because of the level attachment people will feel towards their present goals, where they put the entirety of themselves into it. If something bad happens and things don't work out, people can feel like "there's nothing left". That's about as depressing as it can be. But don't forget that when "there's nothing left", there's nothing tying you down, there's a blank slate. In some respects, there's freedom. And that in itself is the beginning of the next chapter. Dealings with others can often fall through here because you can be unwilling to compromise. If that's because you're trying to uphold some kind of rules or standards, that's one thing (and you might have others asking you to bend said rules to make an exception for them here). It's another if you're doing it out of something more arbitrary though. So if there are set guidelines you have to stick to, be the enforcer, but otherwise, look for areas where you can compromise in order to get others to agree with you.
