Daily Horoscope for Cancer Summary

The current energy isn't the easiest to deal with, but it's trending in the right direction, so we have that. For starters, we're still going to have some lingering Mercury retro effects to deal with for a couple days, so don't rush to put auto-pilot back on; you still want to be alert to avoid any mishaps. You still want to avoid making any assumptions, especially since being hyper-aggressive tends to backfire here. It's the old "but I thought something else was going to happen". The chart is still set up more for adapting over initiating.

At the same time, expansions and development tend to be afflicted here, so you might experience some delays or be forced to go back to the drawing board to reconfigure things. These can be momentary delays, but you should avoid trying to brute force solutions as much as you can. Step back, take in the information that's available, and make smart decisions based on that. Overall, for the day, you might really want to see "benchmarks" that denote progress, but those might not come around, but I wouldn't put too much stock in them anyway. The energy should progressively get easier to manage over the course of the next week, so if something doesn't work today, don't be afraid to set it aside and pick it up again tomorrow; you might have more luck then. Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Cancer

In dealings with others, you're more prone to putting yourself down in order to elevate others (particularly when dealing with strangers). This creates an uneven playing field, where you might always have to capitulate to what others want in order to feel satisfied. That might benefit them, but they're not really going to respect you any more for it. The most important thing is to not make assumptions about others, patronize them or make generalizations about them. Treat everyone as a unique individual and learn their own personal stories before making any judgments.

Daily Tao

The five colors make one blind in the eyes
The five sounds make one deaf in the ears
The five flavors make one tasteless in the mouth

Racing and hunting make one wild in the heart
Goods that are difficult to acquire make one cause damage

Therefore the sages care for the stomach and not the eyes
That is why they discard the other and take this
