A lot of times when we find stagnation, it comes simply through our own desire to stick with what we're doing, what's already comfortable, if not ideal. A chart like this opens us up mentally to the possibility of more. It can also clearly connect dots that make doing new things more palatable than sticking with the old ways.

You want to go about this without too much by way of expectations though. Explore and see what you get. But if you start setting certain parameters for what you'll consider satisfactory, that's when you'll start to be disappointed. It's that mental process of building things up in your mind that's the problem, not what you actually stand to gain, which might be fine, but suffers in that it's not what you were expecting.
