This week I have two grandchildren graduating from high school! What a wild and wonderful life theyÃ¢ÂÂve both had! TheyÃ¢ÂÂve both had more than their share of tragedy in their young lives. In their immediate families and with Covid changing everything they knew the world to be. They are fortunate and I am grateful that they have had their wonderful mothers and so many aunts, uncles and cousins that have loved them and protected them through it all. My daughters are single moms who have taken on the roles of both parents and have gone to every performance these kids ever had, were always active in helping out with whatever was needed by their schools. They are truly wonderful mothers in every way! Although both kids had dreams of going away to college and received scholarships to wonderful schools around the country (did I mention they are both graduating with honors?) they both decided to stay here to go to our university. Selfishly, IÃ¢ÂÂm glad! I so love spending time with all my grandchildren!
