Daily Horoscope for Capricorn Summary

Holiday shopping season is upon us, a magical time where the spirit of giving to those close to us drives people to trample helpless store clerks, hide merchandise in stores so that no one else can claim it, massive parking lot road rage, and so on. They call it Black Friday for a reason. With money tight for a lot of people, desperation might drive some to do crazy things this weekend. A quick thought: If stores like Wal-Mart are staying open all night (to prevent tramplings, apparently), what are they going to do about people showing up at midnight to stake their claim to items that go on sale at 5 in the morning. It could turn into Braveheart in the toy aisles.

With that in mind, today's scope is more of a “value” nature. Venus is fading out of a good aspect with Uranus and a tough one with Neptune (and to a lesser extent Jupiter), but the energy should linger around at least until the end of the weekend. Uranus things, like electronics will tend to be a better buy right now. Also, it's not a bad idea to roll with anything that turns out to be unique in its nature. This might mean personalized items, art or inventive gift ideas that you come up with on your own (that aren't really sold in stores). Neptunish items, like things that prominently feature water, religious or spiritual based articles, or booze, are all things you might want to wait until deeper in the holiday season before you pick up.

Anyways, stay safe if you venture out, and if you're an early morning shopper, don't forget your sword and shield and pray to the ancient gods of Commercius and Spendor for strength in battle. Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Capricorn

There can be plenty of temptation out there right now, as there are plenty of ill-advised sources of pleasure looming out there. It's probably a good idea to be careful if you're drinking at all, as this can be a source of trouble this weekend as well. If you can manage to fend off all of your vices, this weekend actually isn't too bad. You'll get a big kick out of anything that forces you to use your mind to figure things out. Learning also gets a boost (so it might be a nice time to do some reading or to try out a new skill).
