Daily Horoscope for Capricorn Summary
Since I'm writing on Christmas Eve, I'm going with longer summary and no individual scopes today. First and foremost the Universe is giving us Mercury retro for Christmas, which is the equivalent of a 10 year old opening up a present and discovering socks (now as an adult, socks and undies are well appreciated as a gift). We're going to be more self critical for this retro cycle (which lasts until January 15th). Personal flaws are going to stand out and they'll irritate us a bit more. Above all, we can demand perfection out of ourselves, even though it isn't really needed in most situations. Try not to nitpick yourself to death. Along the same lines, when we talk with others, we can say some things that we'll look back at in retrospect and wonder why we said them. We can beat ourselves up a bit over this, but keep in mind this is internal energy. The things we might say to others that are potentially offensive or could be taken the wrong way are just as likely to fly over the recipient's head. So again, let things go and if someone makes a stink at some point, then you deal with it.
Our next present from the Universe comes along the lines of the new Venus cycle (moving into Capricorn). The same Capricorn principles apply; people are going to have a more discrete eye for value. You might see uses for things that seem mundane on the exterior (like socks) and get excited, while you might see limited value in more "flashy" gifts (like the new toy) that you play with one time and then it's outlived its usefulness. Relationships can serve more of a functional value here, which is a downer for those looking for something "hot and steamy" but will actually work out well whenever you are trying to get things accomplished. People here will have an agenda to take care of and will have strong dedications to their responsibilities. That said, if you can get help from others to speed up the process it takes to get work done, utilize that help.
Drifting further into the weekend, we're getting a build up of Venus and Pluto working against Saturn. People's material needs are going to drift to the forefront. It's less a "I need this item one time" type energy. All of this energy concerns the long term. The things we're going to need (which will be strong on our internal radars) are vital to long term operations. There can be problems in acquiring these needs, but this energy is intended to weed out the obstacles in obtaining the supplies we need to be successful, in a way so that we can have a steady stream of supplies moving forward.
That's about it for the weekend. In the upcoming weeks the energy takes a nice turn for the better (save for Saturn-Pluto which is going to continue to linger for a while), but many of the current stresses in our lives can ease up a great deal. Best of luck.
