Daily Horoscope for Capricorn Summary

Staying on point with regard to work is going to be tough today. You can come up with all of the reasons in the world to justify this. I worked too hard last week. I can’t think of what to do next. I can put things off until later. The weather’s nice, I should do something leisurely. If you take five solid minutes, you can come up with a good excuse to mail it in for the day.

Expect people around you to be lax as well. This means if you’re working cooperatively with others on a project, you need to be prepared for them to not hold up their end of the bargain. They will want to use the same excuses you will. The deal is though, that someone has to be responsible. I’m giving you the heads up now, so you can avoid any potential problems that could arise (crossed communications) where you think someone else is going to do something, and they think you’re going to do it.

The flip side of the energy is good though. This is going to be a good day for acting on things you’ve been giving a lot of thought to recently. The Mercury retro energy tends to sabotage things that are rushed together, or are decided impulsively, but it does tend to give people breaks when there is a plan behind things. So take initiative in these types of situations, but if an idea just "pops" into your head, you might want to let it fade away. Best of luck.

You can jump into novel projects here (which makes it a good time to start new things), but after a while the freshness of the situation can wear off, and then you’re left with what amounts to work (even regarding certain hobbies). But all of this is part of a bigger sense of self-discovery. If you don’t like something so much, all you’re learning is that you don’t want to make it a bigger part of your life. Don’t carry on with activities because you don’t want to let others down, or because there’s an impression you like doing something. Andre Agassi didn’t like tennis and it made him miserable. Find what you like to do.
