Daily Horoscope for Capricorn Summary

Astrology is all about planning. By concentrating on the energies at play (an antithetical Merc Retro, a disaffected Uranus, a heart stopping T-Square, or a resolute Saturn), we better understand how to use them in our daily lives. The magic behind a Mercury Retrograde is that it will grant you permission to not only make asinine mistakes, but also to correct them the second time around. How does Merc Retro do this? By pointing out what you really suck at. (Yeah, so if you have a fierce sense of pride, Merc Retro will be sure to topple that foundation. Plus, that trait wasn’t serving you well, anyway. There is a reason why Pride was chosen as one of the Seven Deadly Sins.)

Merc Retro gets a bad rap because people feel it suddenly puts their lives at a standstill. But if you have the ability to change perspective and view it from the (ad)vantage point of "start-over," then there is an almost surfeit amount of benefits to reap from a well-placed, well thought out Merc Retro.

Another simple monetary advantage you can gain from Merc Retro is the plethora of deals and opportunities that come along. I'm not too much of shopper. (In fact, I pretty much lead a spartan lifestyle.) Nevertheless, if you've been looking for that perfect piece of furniture to fill the empty corner of the family room, or perhaps you need to get school clothes for the kids --whatever it is, then you can be sure to find some fantastic deals during Merc Retro.

Usually, the deals are outrageous buys that won't make perfect sense in your life. It’s kind of like shopping at one of those wholesale chains of membership warehouses (CostCo. Sam's Club, BJ's, etc.) where for $2.99 you can get three gallons of lard. And of course, you ask yourself, “What am I going to do with three gallons of pig fat?” I don't have the answer to that. Just keep your eyes peeled because you’re bound to come across deals pretty much at any turn -- going out of business sales, eBay, or perhaps that all-too-common government-seized New Jersey mansion? The deal will usually find you, before you find the deal. The problem is you have to decide if you can afford to pass it up. Going once, going twice…

The Daily Horoscope for Capricorn

Go long! What do I mean by that? Pluto is in Capricorn and hence it is vibin' with your energy. That's a great thing to have. Pluto in Cap means that it will benefit investments for the "long term." That's right! Go long! You would be wise to find the "truth" in all your investments. Do the research and then put your money where your mouth is. If you follow your gut and you’re true to yourself, you can't go wrong.

Daily Tao

Nothing in the world is softer or weaker than water
Yet nothing is better at overcoming the hard and strong
This is because nothing can replace it

That the weak overcomes the strong
And the soft overcomes the hard
Everybody in the world knows
But cannot put into practice

Therefore sages say:
The one who accepts the humiliation of the state
Is called its master
The one who accepts the misfortune of the state
Becomes king of the world
The truth seems like the opposite
