We can end up in situations where we don't have the upper hand (or our best skills) and some people can burn up crazy energy trying to keep things as they are. But the changes in play right now are ones that we can't really stave off. They're going to happen whether we like it or not.

The thing is, as one window closes, another one usually opens up in the near future. But the people out there scrapping and clawing for a piece of the pie being taken away will find they don't have the energy to go after the next fresh baked pie that's about to show up. That's why it's super important to choose today's battles wisely. Look for signs of a changing tide. If things are shifting, look to adapt quickly to the new situation rather than trying to prolong the old. This gives you a jump on others around you and this can be the difference between being in position for an opportunity or being on the outside looking in. Be mature about your situations (as some are prone to complaining when things don't go their way) and you should be able to find a way to make things work for you. Best of luck.

Having everything a certain set way will help you handle things in a methodical manner. But overall you can suffer from a lack of motivation to really excel. This is going to limit some of the things you can accomplish because you won't seek to aim for the best, but merely the good enough. When you notice this happening, that's when you have to dig deep and search for a higher gear to operate at. While you might not have the intensity others have in pursuing goals, a well crafted plan can make up for this as you will maximize the effort you put in.
