Daily Horoscope for Capricorn Summary

Woo Hoo! Osama bin Laden is dead! Terrorism is over!... Oh wait. Let me suggest we hold off on our high-fiving for just a moment.

Osama has become the figurehead for all forms of terrorism in this country. He embodies the spirit of it. But from our perspective, it's easy to assume things like “He runs everything”. In reality though, this probably isn't the case. There's probably a number of people in his network that have influence. We are of course talking about someone who's reportedly been in failing health for a number of years. I'm imagining there is some type of back-up plan in place. Someone will step up and replace him.

Add to this the fact that there are organizations doing things “in name of Al-Qaeda”. They might not have any actual (or weakened) affiliations, but they share the same ideals.

I suppose what I'm getting at is that this isn't some kind of “big victory”. This isn't something really worth celebrating. This isn't going to bring those people who died on 9/11 back to life. If anything this probably stands to incite people who shared his ideals to action, whereas him dying of health-related reasons wouldn't. Not to mention the fact that the TV morons are going to make a mockery of the topic, throwing around partisan blame and kudos.

Today's lesson goes something like this: Look below the surface and critically assess what you see. This is action-based energy at work, and when in the hands of a man with a plan, it can work great. But if you haven't thought things out, and you put things into motion, it can make more of a mess than you started with. So understand what you're really looking at. Don't trust that first impulse; make sure there isn't something more there. Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Capricorn

Family (or close friends) can help provide roots for you right now, and they'll also tend to rein you in if your taking on anything that's a little too big for you to handle at the moment. The idea is pursuing achievable goals. When you go after things that are too lofty and unrealistic, you're wasting the potential this energy has. You can get a ton of little things done right now, but not so many big ones. Once that firm foundation is set, you'll be able to expand outwards a little more.
