Fitting for Spring, this weekend offers up a grand buffet of choices and options…it’s a pretty wide open space for playing and learning- the best of life! First, the icing, while it’s very quickly moving energy, we can look forward to enjoying an emotionally riveting highlight around the middle of the weekend as Jupiter springs some serious joy and abundance. This energy is great for the free spirited flow of energy and indulgence that weekends were made for, so going a bit outside of your normal limits can be expected (desert anyone?!).

Mars is really the powerhouse mover of the weekend with an intensity that is opposing the Sun- this is inevitably going to cause an internal sort of “itching” that pushes our desires to the forefront and makes it feel like things simply cannot happen fast enough. Be warned however, this energy will pass quickly, and those who jump to conclusions or actions too soon will likely have to pay for it later, so make sure you give yourself ample time to think things through. The key to this energy is in allowing our inner feelings to manifest and settle in... what lingers on for the long run will be the key being stirred to attention at this time. Make personal notes to see what the core of this energy relates to. On a basic level it’s urging for change of a deeper level, this is very personal in nature and may cause things to be a bit rough around the edges, so give yourself a little more “me” time- it will be well worth it!

The most interesting part of this energy is it’s call to action for self exploration- this is when taking a walk and absorbing the little details…noticing all that is happening around you, can lead to some deep insights. It’s when we take our minds off of the urgent demands and focus on the little pleasures that the yearnings within often spring to the surface. This energy goes beyond even this and can easily lead to great personal insights, it's just a matter of focusing- or not focusing your attention on you. The craziness of modern life often and usually prevents us from gaining access to these moments of “zen”. This is truly the key to this weekend’s energy. Are you willing to make sacrifices... to give up or trade something in order to learn about and grow the self?

It would be a shame not to mention the boost of energy from Uranus also very active this weekend, this will end up brining a bit of obscurity and unusual urges and drives to the surface. This can lead to some interesting events on any social scene, but when taken internally (like a dose of medicine) this energy can lead to the finding of a gap within the self... a place looking for fulfillment beyond the usual and what is already in place. It’s just this negative space, this unfulfilled part of the self that is calling for attention now…
